Course Description:

This course is intended to be an introduction to the Stroke Scale used by Emergency Medical Services and Trauma Systems in determining if an individual has suffered a stroke.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Describe how to conduct the Stroke Scale
  • Explain the importance of documentation
  • Discuss how to properly document information gathered at the scene of a stroke
